The first grade classroom provides children with
opportunities to learn and to play in an environment that is structured,
stable, safe, and loving. First graders learn to work independently and
quietly, while receiving warm support and encouragement to do their best. Our
children grow in faith and Christian love through the daily hearing of God’s
Word.
Grace Lutheran School: Elizabeth Jaranowski Biography
I was born in Milwaukee, WI, and grew up in New Jersey. I graduated from Cedar Crest College
in Allentown, PA, with a B.A. in Psychology and Elementary Education. I earned my Masters
degree in Educational Leadership at the University of North Florida in 2000, and in 2002
I completed the courses offered through the Concordia University online Teacher Colloquy
program.
Before coming to Grace Lutheran School, I taught in public schools for 25 years, including
seven years at a Montessori magnet school. I served as the director/principal of Grace Lutheran
School for five years before returning to the classroom to teach first grade.
My husband, John, and I enjoy frequent walks on the beach, riding our motor scooters, and
being grandparents. Our daughter and her family live in the Orlando area.
