Welcome to Grace Lutheran School! My name is Julie Ann Peterson, your Admissions Counselor. I am here to answer any questions you may have about Grace Lutheran School and assist you throughout the application and enrollment process.
I grew up in Kansas City, KS in a loving Christian home with parents who encouraged and supported a personal relationship with Christ. I graduated in 1997 from Kansas University Medical Center School of Interventional Medicine, where I met my husband Jeffrey. We moved to Jacksonville in 2000 where I continued to work as a CT Tehonologist at Mayo Clinic.
In the spring of 2008, Mr. Jackson shared with me a new position at Grace called Admissions Counselor. The responsibilities would include assisting current and future Grace families through the enrollment process, fostering an environment in which our children, parents and staff may grow and to help develop a strong community presence. In short, this job was all about building relationships. I knew right away that this was where God wanted me to be! Our Heavenly Father has used my last 17 years in medicine to prepare my heart for a new and amazing journey as a part of the Grace Lutheran School ministry team.
