I have lived in Jacksonville for most of my life and have been a member of Grace for nearly 20 years. I am the proud wife of a Jacksonville firefighter, Ryan, and the mother of two wonderful children, Caden, 5, and Emma, 3. It has been a blessing to grow up in this church and I have been dually blessed in being a part of the ministry team at Grace Lutheran School. I became a teacher’s assistant for the Pre-K 3 class when the school opened in 1998. When I graduated from UNF in 2001, with a degree in Elementary Education, I joyfully accepted the 2nd grade teaching position at Grace. I became known as the “Frog Lady” and taught second grade for 6 years. I became a full-time mom a year after Caden was born and spent the next four years at home. I have returned to teaching and am thrilled to be back! I have discovered that I am at home in a Pre-K 4 classroom. I am thankful to be a part of Grace’s teaching ministry once again. Ryan and I are also thankful to watch our children learn and grow in this place of Grace!
