Rev. Jeremy Lucke - Senior Pastor

Jeremy N. Lucke was born in Spokane, Washington into a family of educators. His parents, both 5th grade teachers, conveniently began dating when Tom (father) asked Becky (mother) out on a date during recess duty. Jeremy also has two sisters. His sister Melinda resides in Washington D.C. working as a foreign service officer. His sister Beth calls Tacoma, Washington home where she works as a college librarian. She is married to Robert and has a son named William.

It was in Spokane that Jeremy attended college at Gonzaga University receiving a degree in Accounting and cultivating a love for basketball and languages. In 2002 he began his studies at Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis, Missouri. During his third year of seminary he was chosen to attend the Westfield House in Cambridge, England for a year of study. The next year he was assigned to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Boca Raton, Florida for his vicarage. Jeremy received his Master of Divinity from Concordia in May 2007 and after a few months of wedding preparation and more study was assigned to serve as Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church.

Jeremy met his wife Alicia on a mission trip to Guatemala in 2006. It was Alicia’s servant heart and fluent Spanish that captured Jeremy’s attention. Pastor Jeremy & Alicia welcomed their first child, Kaia in June.
